Dirt Dessert

My husband was really excited when we did our A Bug’s Life Family Movie Night because I told him the dessert was dirt cups. Growing up his mom made an amazing dirt recipe. It’s so good and so easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • One Package of Oreos
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • Stick of butter
  • 1 Cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cool whip
  • 2 packages instant vanilla or chocolate instant pudding
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

Mix cream cheese, butter, and sugar til smooth and fold into cool whip. In a separate bowl mix pudding, milk, and vanilla. Add together and blend well. Crush Oreos and mix half with pudding mix. You can either do individual cups and sprinkle the rest on each cup or you can spread the pudding into a cake pan and spread the Oreos on top. Don’t forget the gummy worms to really make it look like dirt. image

We also had some pretend flowers we stuck into it to give it a little extra something.
